Jade Mountain Academy is a school on [[Pyrrhia]] based on the location of the same name in the Wings of Fire canon. The academy is constructed within Jade Mountain.

== Description ==
The mountain is split in two with a large tree bridging the two sides. Inside the tree is the teleport point and a sign board with the names of the build team members who worked on Pyrrhia [[Generation 4]]. Near to this room is the mail location for JMA. On the branches above, there are platforms of various size and shape that are intended for general purpose.

The east side of the academy is for dorms and utilities.

The prey center is the uppermost cave. Animals spawn automatically, making the area a permanent and free source of food. The prey center contains cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, and rabbits. There are also chests available for unwanted items.

Jade Mountain Academy does not follow the canon convention of Winglets. Instead, students are grouped by tribe and combined into the following caves:

* SandWings & HiveWings
* LeafWings & RainWings
* SeaWings & MudWings
* IceWings & SilkWings
* SkyWings & NightWings

At the very end of the east wing is a locked cave called ''the janitor room''.

The west side of the academy is for classrooms. Following the main hall from top to bottom are the following classrooms:

* Chemistry Lab
* Architecture Classroom
* Art Classroom
* Music Classroom
* History Class
* Technology Classroom
* Language Classroom
* Culinary Classroom

At the bottom of the west wing is the Great Hall and the main entrance to Jade Mountain Academy. Next to it is the library, which contains many readable books. Throughout the west wing, there are study rooms for individual or group study. There is also a hidden cave in which lies the remains of Stonemover.

=== First iteration ===
The first iteration of Jade Mountain Academy was built sometime during or before March 2018 during [[Generation 2]]. It contained several classrooms, dorm rooms, and the prey center. It was used during the [[Pyrrhia 3 Map Update Party]] as the area for a head-hunting competition.

=== Second iteration ===
The second iteration of JMA was built for [[Generation 3]] with a more structured layout. It was mistakenly created on the north side of Pyrrhia. This error was not noticed until the later creation of the Sky Palace. It was commonly agreed upon that the in-universe reason for this location swap was the result of Queen Swallowtail of the [[SkyWings]] mistakenly swapping them with her one spell afforded by the Scepter of Spinel.

This iteration of JMA was the spawn point of the server after completing the tribe selection. It also gained a library, a principal's office, a cave dedicated to the Dragonets of Destiny, and an underground lake. Throughout its life, it become home to the staff board (later the staff hall), tribe banners, tribe counts, the royalty cave, the wing selection cave, and several special event areas.
