Description

Oakworm is a large MudWing-SilkWing hybrid with brown scales, sporting a yellow stripe across her underbelly and an orange stripe across the length of her spine. She has four wings, with their webbing sloping inwards at the fingers.

Personality

Oakworm is a complicated dragon. She cares about those close to her, but often puts up a facade of being the "mean girl". She has trouble controlling her emotions, and is somewhat prone to meltdowns.

Biography

Oakworm was hatched alongside her siblings in The Kingdom of Silken Leaves. Their mother, Atlasa, had abandoned their eggs. As a direct result, the four sibs had a rough dragonethood and fought for whatever they could get. Oakworm, when she was five years old, briefly dated Postman, but the relationship eventually failed. When they were twelve, Oakworm's sib Cicada suggested they try and visit The Mud Kingdom. During this trip, Oakworm's bigwings, Moth, was killed. In the following days, Oakworm would become a mudwing noble, despite still living in The Silk Kingdom. Among nobility, Oakworm became infamous for causing arguments. After being accused of murdering her brother and being threatened by Aurora on the royalty stones, Oakworm left and managed to become cursed to become partly BeetleWing. Oakworm struggled with her mental health, causing her to step down less than a year after she gained her position. Duchess Slush's daughter, Frostlily, had made a deal with Oakworm to have her perform certain duties while she continued to attend therapy. She was sent to help a shepherd named Lamb, with whom Oakworm would become very close with.

Trivia

Oakworm was originally named Metalmark, but this was changed in order to avoid confusion with another character.

When Oakworm was younger, she briefly went through a phase in which she went by "BloodEclipse"

After having met Lamb, Oakworm can not bring herself to eat any dish with sheep meat.
