Overview

Riptide is currently reigning over the SeaWings ruler. He's a pureblooded SeaWing, born in <yyyy>, played by fog_deity

RP Example - Riptide strode through the IceWing corridors as he made his way to the diplomatic room, A heavy cloak settled over himself, hiding the majority of his body and giving himself extra warmth. He had the hood off as he wanted to ensure that the other dragons in the hall didn't mistake him for a traveler. His horns boasted ornate SeaWing jewelry, shimmering as he passed through the white halls to his destination.

Description

A dark blue regal SeaWing with a lighter blue underbelly and light blue glow markings, He has a rather large and slim build. His muscles lay flat under his navy scales, hiding his strength. His tail is long and alligator shaped. His wings match the rest of his color scheme with his wing membranes the color of his underbelly and his wing fingers are navy blue. He has a SeaWing frill lining his spine and his underbelly. His barbels are thin and short, attached to his chin. His expression is typically that of a glare. He has a dark metallic horn ring set on his right horn, which is optional in any art. He also has a chunk of Skyfire embedded into the first spine on his forehead of his frill.

Personality

Riptide is a cunning dragon, using his words before using his teeth despite preferring it the other way. He climbed his way up the ranks with efficiency and "persuasion". He isn't one to talk about his plans and actively deflects any attempt to learn about his past. The SeaWing holds nearly every dragon he can at arms length, refusing to get personally close with anyone so they don't get in the way of his plans though he has a soft spot for dragonets. Despite spending most of his time doing scrollwork to reinstate specific laws and restructure multiple aquatic systems, he has made efforts to make public appearances and design a few public facilities. He may not act much like it but his care for his tribe runs deep into the depths.

Biography

Very little can be found about Lord Riptide before his time on the royalty board. The records merely list his ownership to an island near the deep palace. A list of his skills include: Adept at combat excluding flight combat, Observant, Manipulation, Lying, and an extra strength in Swimming besides average SeaWings. His opinions over magic include: thinking of magic as something to use, preferring to maximize usage anytime he can. If there is a cost, there might be a way around said cost, which is enough for him.

Trivia

• Riptide was created as a VERY large man, however, Fog forgot just how small that makes everyone else, quickly making Riptide hold an enchanted horn ring that allows him to shift into a more reasonable size.
• Riptide is incredible at swimming, much more then the majority of his tribe, with very few to rival his capabilities.
