Overview

Waterjet is a 9-year-old male SeaWing born on 8,116 AS on a small island in the Bay of a Thousand Scales.

Appearance

Waterjet, a medium-sized dragon, stands slightly shorter than the average adult SeaWing. His eyes are an unusual bright orange-yellow hue. His scales are a blend of sky blue and aqua, and the outer part of his wings is a lighter shade of sky blue, while the inner part mirrors the colour of his scales. Although his wingspan is large, it is not as large as the average adult SkyWing. His fins are notably larger than those of other SeaWings. One of his horns has been shaved due to a portion of it being snapped off. He also has multiple scars on his body due to poor combat skills. Waterjet's colossal tail serves as a dangerous weapon, capable of inflicting significant damage upon his enemies or creating magnificent, large splashes of water when playing with other SeaWings. One noticeable feature of Waterjet is his lack of bioluminescent scales, which renders him unable to communicate in Aquatic. However, he has learnt sign language and uses it to communicate with other underwater SeaWings who also know sign language. Additionally, his tongue is forked.

Personality

Waterjet is quite shy when speaking towards other dragons, especially non-SeaWings and dragons he doesn't trust. When being attacked, he tries to be fierce and scary, but he sometimes fails. He also tries to keep his friends safe during dangerous situations, but it sometimes will become his friends protecting him.

Biography

Waterjet has been attacked multiple times by dragons in his lifetime, however, this number is slim as Waterjet occasionally stays in one place, which is usually his cave. The scars on his body are due to this. He is also known to be more intelligent than others in some types, but not in combat as he fails easily at combat skills. Waterjet is very much of a bookworm, he reads lots of scrolls and gets most of his intelligence from these scrolls, he has read scrolls specifically about combat, but he somehow cannot muster the ability to do it correctly. The current reason why is unknown, even Waterjet himself doesn't know why he is terrible at this skill.

History

Family and Post-Family (0-7 years old)

Waterjet was hatched on one of the small islands in the Bay of the Thousand Scales and spent five years of his life with their parents before deciding to live on their own. When they hatched, they decided on an unusual name for the hatchling, which was Waterjet, which was possibly due to their eye colour, or their big wingspan. After Waterjet decided to live on his own, he spent most of his time living underwater in a waterless cave within the Sea Kingdom, usually in his free time he would read scrolls he got from the dragons in the Sea Kingdom, and when he is not doing this he is either sleeping or hunting for seafood. He lived in his cave for 2⅓ years before deciding to move again, which was upon the northeastern shore of the Mud Kingdom.

Pre-Estuary (7-8 years old)

When Waterjet found an empty cave with an entrance next to the northeastern Mud Kingdom shore, he decided to live in it, soon later managing to seal it off with rocks and stones he found in the cave, leaving an arch shape for entering and exiting. Upon moving into this cave, he cleaned up everything in the cave to make a suitable condition for living in and moved all his belongings into it. He still lives in this cave to this day.

Estuary (9-? years old)

One day, when Waterjet was reading one of his scrolls, a SeaWing swooped in the entrance and nearly made Waterjet faint, asking if they could help make this place a town. Waterjet thought for a while and agreed on the idea, creating Estuary. They all worked on this project for the remainder of 8,124 AS and even into 8,125 AS, with some dragons joining in to help with the building of the town. The town is still under construction to this day.

Abilities

Waterjet has huge wings, which is unusual for SeaWings, and Waterjet uses this to his advantage when fleeing from danger, letting him get away from most things quicker than most dragons, however, he cannot outfly a SkyWing, or flee from one using this tactic.

Weaknesses

Waterjet lacks the proper battle skills for combat with other dragons, which causes him to lose easily when in battle.

When Waterjet is frightened, he gains a fear of blood, which can cause him to faint easily when excessive amounts of blood are shown.

Trivia

Waterjet's terrible combat skills were made on purpose by the creator to make Waterjet feel more miserable in fighting terms.
